When AT&T announced at CES earlier this year that they were launching 12 Android devices and 20 total 4G devices this year they were not joking around.  Coming to AT&T the second quarter of this year will be the Acer Iconia Tab A501.  This Tablet is 4G, has Honeycomb, packs a 10.1″ screen, and boasts a 1GHz Tegra 250 dual-core processor.  It will also carry a 5-megapixel rear camera, front-facing camera for video chat, and will have a HDMI port for 1080p video.

To combat AT&T, Verizon will also be launching their version.  The Acer Iconia Tab A500.  Either way I have to say I’m very impressed on how sleek this device looks.  Video courtesy of Phandroid.com below.

Will this device hold its own against the Motorola Xoom or the LG G-Slate?  We’ll find out pretty soon.  There is not an actual date or price released for this device as of yet.  Here’s the press release by AT&T.
