GeForce NOW subscribers are gaining the ability to sail the high seas as the pirate they always wanted to be growing up thanks to the inclusion of Sea of Thieves. Starting today, subscribers of NVIDIA’s cloud gaming service will be able to stream Sea of Thieves to all of their compatible devices. NVIDIA GeForce NOW is available on numerous platforms. Which means now, you can play Sea of Thieves (or any GeForce NOW game) just about anywhere you want.
If you’ve not tried out GeForce NOW yet, you definitely should. It makes for a great gaming experience when you aren’t tied down to a PC or console. The addition of Sea of Thieves is part of an ongoing partnership between NVIDIA and Microsoft to bring Microsoft’s Xbox titles to the streaming service. Sea of Thieves is not the first game from the Xbox lineup to hit GeForce NOW, and it certainly won’t be the last. It’s also not the only game dropping on GeForce NOW this week. That being said, this is a light week in terms of new arrivals.
Sea of Thieves is one of four new games dropping on GeForce NOW this week
Some of us dreamed of being pirates when we were kids, but not everyone heard the call of the high seas beckoning them to go in search of treasure. While Sea of Thieves will no doubt provide many players with hours of enjoyment if pirates aren’t your thing, there are other new games dropping. In fact, this week brings four new games to the service, of which Sea of Thieves is one. The remaining three games include Sunnyside, Disney Speedstorm, and Bodycam. Sunnyside is a new release on Steam that drops tomorrow.
So once the game hits Steam you’ll be able to play it in the cloud. Both Disney Speedstorm and Bodycam are available to stream as of today. If you do happen to play Sea of Thieves on GeForce NOW, you’ll get access to all of the content. NVIDIA confirms that all seasons and content are available. So you won’t have to settle for just the base game.
