Motorola’s Moto Tag Bluetooth tracker is finally available to buy. The device was introduced in June, alongside the Motorola Razr and Razr+ smartphones, which became available just last week. The Motorola-made Moto Tag Bluetooth tracker is compatible with most AirTag accessories and works with Google’s FMD network for Android products.
The Moto Tag is priced similar to the AirTag
The Moto Tag is priced at $29.99, similar to the Air Tag which costs a little less at $29. There’s also a four-pack bundle that is priced at $99. It essentially offers a discount of around $20. The Moto Tag is going to be available on the company’s website, apart from Amazon. The pre-orders for the tiny tracking accessory have already started shipping.
It is more than just a Bluetooth tracker
The basic functionalities of the Moto Tag are similar to most of the other Bluetooth trackers on the market. Like similar accessories, you can attach the Moto Tag to your wallet, luggage, key, about anything. It ensures that your valuables are always within reach.
However, the Moto Tag is more than just a Bluetooth tracker. The accessory does more than just keep your valuables within reach. You can press the button on the tag to ring your phone. But the company has also made it a remote camera shutter. The feature is compatible with any Android device. You will not have to set a timer to capture a beautiful selfie with the higher-end rear cameras of your phone.
The Moto Tag can be easily paired using Quick Pair. Once the accessory is switched on and is near your phone, you will have the Quick Pair page on the screen to connect it. The accessory is IP67-rated, meaning it can withstand dust and survive under up to one meter of water for up to 30 minutes.
Last but not least, the tracker is fuelled by a replaceable CR2032 battery. The brand claims it’s enough to power the device for a full year.
