In the past few days, leaks surrounding the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 have been abundant. This suggests that its launch is close, although there is no official date yet. In the meantime, the rumors don’t stop, and now the alleged price of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 has emerged.

OnePlus Buds 3 Pro would cost €199, €20 more than the Buds Pro 2

OnePlus has slightly changed its strategy regarding flagship earbuds. The company launched the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in February 2023, although there was never a vanilla Buds 2. However, this year, OnePlus first launched the Buds 3 as “pseudo-flagship” earbuds, but the Pro model is still pending. Now, a new report from tipster Max Jambor claims that the OnePlus Buds 3 Pro will cost €199 in EU markets.

For reference, the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 launched for €179.00, while the first-gen OnePlus Buds Pro cost €149. So, the earbuds lineup has been on an upward trend in price since its launch. However, the Buds Pro 2 were a big improvement compared to the original model, which justified the price increase. It is possible that something similar will happen with the allegedly higher OnePlus Buds 3 Pro price.

Some leaked key specs

According to leaks, the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 will arrive with better audio quality thanks to a new DAC for its dual-driver system. They will reportedly use the LDAC 5.0 codec for HiFi audio quality, also supporting AAC and SBC. The earbud’s ANC would reduce noise by up to 50 decibels, which is slightly higher than its predecessor. Also, a recent leak suggests that the company will integrate its earbuds with its own AI-powered features, like AI call summary.

Leaked renders of the OnePlus Buds Pro 3 also revealed a redesign. Now, the shiny area is wider, covering the entire stem up to the base of the sound chamber. In addition, the charging box is totally different from that of the Buds Pro 2, adopting an oval shape instead of a rectangular one. Lastly, the earbuds are expected to be available in at least three colors.
