Samsung Captivate's Android 2.2 Froyo Update is LIVE!

As Jordan Yost reported yesturday, Samsung’s promise to provide the Samsung Captivate Android 2.2 update (KB1) today has come true! Here are the official changes in this update…

• Improvements:
  • Out of Office: Option has been included again
  • Security: Increased device security
  • Swype: Performance has been improved
• Modifications:
  • Home Page: Device has a new default browser home page
  • Messaging: Max MMS size is downsides when sending
  • Bluetooth: Radio is not disconnected upon turning on flight mode
• Fixes
  • Calendar: Several issues were addressed relating to difficulty synchronizing, showing accurate meeting status of attendees, and taking action
  • Buddies Now: Force closed problem addressed
  • Imaging: Certain problems with animated GIFs files have been corrected
  • Messaging: iCan either enable or disable delivery receipt in settings
