Right now, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition is getting it’s update to Android 4.4. KitKat. This would be the LTE version, for those wondering that’s model number SM-P605. Now the LTE model is due to hit T-Mobile later this month, so hopefully it’ll launch with KitKat on board. The WiFi version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 rolled out a few weeks ago so everyone should have it now, but it’s now hitting LTE versions of the tablet, which is great news.

As usual the update is hitting devices via OTA or you can download it via Kies, for those that are impatient and want the update right now. The update includes all kinds of goodies like Cloud Print, immersive mode, and so much more. Now the update does not include the new version of Touchwiz that the Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy TabPRO/NotePRO tablets have. It’s still the same Touchwiz, just with KitKat underneath.

Right now the update is rolling out to the Nordic region which includes Denmark and Finland. But it should be rolling out to other regions that sell the Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 LTE very soon, as the update should be just about the same. The Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 is still a great tablet, and Amazon has it on sale right now, starting at $479, which is a great price for a tablet with a 2560×1600 resolution display, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of storage with a microSD card slot, and a huge 9000mAh battery inside. Also don’t forget the S Pen and all the great S Pen features like Pen Window that the Galaxy Note 10.1 includes.

How many of you with the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 Edition are excited to get some KitKat onto your tablets? If you get the update, please be sure to let us know how you are liking the update in the comments below.
