Starforge Systems is one of the premier custom prebuilt PC companies out there and it’s in no small part to limited releases like this Old School RuneScape PC that was just announced.

If you’re familiar at all with Starforge Systems, even a little, then you’re likely aware that it creates numerous custom gaming PC builds. Remember the Dunkin’ PC from earlier this year? That was Starforge Systems. These custom rigs tend to be available in very limited supply. That being said, these are usually spruced-up custom jobs of what Starforge normally offers. So you can still get a PC like this without all the extra pizazz if you either miss out or just don’t care for the RuneScape theme.

As for this machine in particular, it’s packed to the gills with all kinds of performance power. Not to mention special little details. Paying homage to the RuneScape days of old, this limited edition PC comes with all the trimmings a fan could want. Like custom detailing around the entirety of the case. Even on parts of the tempered glass paneling and the vent on the other side.

The Starforge RuneScape PC comes with a limited bundle

Now as mentioned these are pretty limited runs so there won’t be a ton of them available. At least not compared to the number of normal Starfroge PCs you can buy like the Voyager or Navigator. Worth noting too is that you can also build any of the other PCs that Starforge offers and customize it with this case. So you don’t have to buy this limited edition RuneScape model. There is precedent in doing so as well. As the RuneScape model will come with specific hardware, and you might want something more powerful. As for the cost of the RuneScape model, it comes in at $2,150.

Spec-wise it’s beefy enough to handle any game you can throw at it. This includes an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X CPU and an AMD Radeon 7800XT GPU. With those components, you can expect a reasonable average of 184 frames per second in games like Modern Warfare III. As well as an average of 145 frames per second in Forza Horizon 5 if you’re playing in 1080p. The performance will naturally dip some if you bump up the graphics to 1440p or 4K. But even at 4K, you’re still looking at a crispy 80 frames per second in Modern Warfare III on average. Not too bad.

The PC also comes with 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD. As for the limited bundle, from now until July 21 Starforge is offering a bundle when you buy this PC that comes with all five custom RuneScape platelights. The bundle includes a 12-month membership to Old School RuneScape as well. If you’re unfamiliar with the Platelights, these are acrylic plates you can slap onto the front of the PC to give it some additional style.

Both the case and the Platelights can be purchased separately

If you already have a Starforge gaming PC and you just want to jazz it up a bit, you can optionally pick up the case and/or the Platelights separately. The case by itself is $400 and the Platelights are $40 each. There’s also a case bundle that comes with the 12-month Old School RuneScape membership for $500. And on top of that, it’s possible to add these things to the Voyager and Navigator PCs at $200 a pop.
